A slip is not always an accepted bet

A filled slip can remain a draft until submitted and accepted. If prices change, an operator may ask you to accept changed odds or may reject the selection under its terms. Look for a confirmation message, bet reference and accepted price rather than assuming a click completed the transaction.

Keep the reference number for support questions. Do not share passwords, one-time codes or mobile-money PINs with anyone claiming to fix a slip.

Singles and accumulators

A single slip contains one selection. An accumulator contains several legs and usually requires each one to settle successfully for a full win. A void leg may cause a recalculation under the operator’s rules. Review every leg individually, not just the combined odds at the bottom.

For a KES example, if a single stake is KES 100 at 2.00, the simple gross-return illustration is KES 200. The net amount above stake is KES 100. A slip may display these labels differently, so inspect the operator’s wording.

Before confirming

  • Read the event and market name in full.
  • Check the stake and decimal format.
  • Review any changed-odds message.
  • Read the operator’s rules for the market and settlement.
  • Confirm only if the selection and amount match your intention.
